National study of renter’s satisfaction with their cities and states
Apartment List has released Ann Arbor’s results from the third annual Apartment List Renter Satisfaction Survey. This survey, which drew on responses from over 45,000 renters nationwide, provides insight on what states and cities must do to meet the needs of the country’s 111 million renters.
"Ann Arbor renters expressed general satisfaction with the city overall," according to Apartment List. "They gave most categories above average scores."

This neighborhood offers convenient access to both the University of Michigan and the tech corridor along Plymouth Road. Elbel neighborhood offers a scholarly atmosphere near the University of Michigan's north campus, where winding streets lined with mature trees create a park-like setting. Residents enjoy walking access to Elbel Field's recreation areas and frequent outdoor concerts.
