Located in the historic village of Oak Park and just minutes east of the Frank Lloyd Wright Studio and Home which is also on Chicago Avenue. Oak Park is noted internationally for its historic architecture with styles including Queen Anne, Prairie School and Colonial Revival.Oak Park is know particularly as the home of Frank Lloyd Wright from 1989 to 1909, and holds the largest concentration of Prairie School Architecture in America including 25 designs by Wright. On another note Oak Park is also the birth place of the famed writer Ernest Hemingway. and home to the Hemingway Museum. Oak Park has a wonderful down town with one of a kind shops and restaurants. The public transportation is amazing with the Blue and Green Line elevated trains as well as the Metra which takes you to the heart of Chicago with in 15 minutes.
