Property DescriptionVideo Walkthrough: https://youtu.be/_m0AS-Mm8Lk
Set on nearly an acre among mature redwoods in Kent Woodlands, this renovated 6BD/5.5BA home puts 5,642 square feet across three levels, with the kind of dedicated spaces most homes this size don't have: a recreation room with a full bar, a fitness room, a wine cellar, and a downstairs bedroom with separate entrance.
You enter through a gated front yard onto a level artificial turf lawn, then into a vaulted great room where windows run the length of the wall. Living and dining share the space, anchored by a gas fireplace and opening through French doors to the main entertainment deck. The kitchen sits under its own vaulted ceiling with windows on three sides looking into the redwoods -- quartz counters, a large island with prep sink and seating, five-burner gas cooktop, double ovens, dishwasher, and a wine refrigerator, with a casual dining area that opens to the deck.
The primary suite is on the main level: vaulted ceilings, two walk-in closets, a bay-window sitting area overlooking the front garden, and a private door to the outside. The marble bath has dual vanities, a jetted tub set under a window in the trees, a large stall shower, and skylights. A second en-suite bedroom on this level has hardwood floors, a walk-in closet, skylights, and its own tiled shower.
Upstairs holds three more bedrooms, two full baths, the wine cellar, and a full laundry room with side-by-side machines and built-in shelving. The recreation room up here is the flex space of the house, complete with a billiard table, and room to lounge, or a media setup, with a granite bar, sink, and seating for six.
The lowest level has a sixth en-suite bedroom, a sitting area, and the library, a wall of cherry bookshelves and cabinetry, one section of which swings open into the fitness room behind it.
Outside, decks wrap the tree side of the house with cable railing and redwood views, stepping up to a luxurious jacuzzi tub. A detached two-car garage sits off the driveway.
Kent Woodlands puts trailheads at the end of the street, with Woodland Market, Rustic Bakery, and Guesthouse a few minutes away and quick access to Highway 101 and the Larkspur ferry. Kentfield Elementary School District and Tamalpais Union High School District.
