505 Valley Rd

Must have 3x the rent in total household income from all funding sources (before taxes)

Pre-leasing for 2027/2028 year!! A truly rare opportunity to rent one of the closest off-Grounds homes to the University of Virginia. 505 Valley Road sits directly next to and borders UVA's South Lawn, offering what many consider the best location in Charlottesville -- just steps from Cabell Hall, The Lawn, and the heart of UVA's academic core. Set back on a quiet cul-de-sac, the property offers an unusual combination of total walkability and residential charm. Students can walk to classes, libraries, events, and UVA Hospital in minutes without relying on buses, parking, or long walks through town. The home features 8 bedrooms and 4 full baths, with spacious common areas, hardwood floors, arched windows, and large bedrooms well-suited for group living. The layout gives students plenty of space to gather or quiet corners for privacy. Outside, the backyard is great for relaxing, hanging out with friends, or small gatherings. For parents, the location offers exceptional peace of mind. The property directly borders UVA Grounds, allowing students to remain on or immediately adjacent to campus for daily activities while living in a quiet, established neighborhood. Compared to on-Grounds housing, this home offers significantly more space, privacy, and independence while still being closer to UVA's academic center than most dorms. It's a rare chance to enjoy full-house living without giving up proximity to campus. Recently renovated kitchen, bathroom, and other areas offer modern functionality while maintaining the home's classic brick character.
