The median rent in Norwalk fell by 1.4% over the course of December, and has now decreased by a total of 2.6% over the past 12 months. Norwalk’s rent growth over the past year has has fallen behind both the state (1.0%) and national averages (-1.3%).
Twelve months into the year, rents in Norwalk have fallen 3.2%. This is a slower rate of growth compared to what the city was experiencing at this point last year: from January to December 2024 rents had increased 7.5%.
