What's it like to live in Windemere?
Tech workers flock to Windemere for good reason – you're minutes from Bishop Ranch and the major East Bay employers without the insanity of Silicon Valley prices. Most rentals here come with actual garages (sometimes two!), and unlike SF apartments, you'll have enough kitchen space to cook real meals. Iron Horse Trail runs right through the neighborhood, so you can bike to work without risking your life on 680. The schools are excellent if you've got kids, but honestly, the biggest perk might be coming home to actual quiet after work. Just know that summer temperatures regularly hit 90s, so check if your potential rental has decent A/C.
