Kaufman is the county seat of the aptly-named Kaufman County. This is a really small community, home to fewer than 7,000 people as of 2010, but it has a pretty cool history. Did you know this is the first town in which Bonnie Parker -- of Bonnie and Clyde fame -- served prison time?
Although you aren't going to find any cool luxury apartments in Kaufman, you will be able to find a good-sized house with at least three rooms and plenty of yard space
