Rent an Apartment in Kaufman
Although you aren't going to find any cool luxury apartments in Kaufman, you will be able to find a good-sized house with at least three rooms and plenty of yard space. If you have your heart set on finding two bedroom apartments or pet friendly apartments in Kaufman, you'll have to practice putting on your patient face -- Kaufman doesn't cater specifically to apartment dwellers. You may be able to find a split-level rental house or basement suite, however if you are serious about keeping your pets you should more seriously consider renting a full house.
When it comes to bringing proper documentation, don't skimp. This includes money down for an application, security deposit and first and last month's rent. And while it's not always mandatory, it can never hurt to bring a copy of your credit report and references to get a leg up on a great find.

Kaufman sits at a busy cross section of major highways in Kaufman County, and is a neighborhood unto itself with under 7,000 according to the 2012 census bureau. To the east is the attractive Kaufman Lake, as well as (how can we say this?) the not so originally named Lake 2. The town center holds several retail centers and large houses to rent, many of which are available for at great prices. This part of Texas is definitely affordable!
The houses you are likely to find here were built in the 1980s and 1990s, although there are a few more traditional homes in the area if you are looking for a cool little piece of local history.

Come on over to the Kaufman Sports Complex to watch how its done or show your skills at a variety of team sports! To catch some great football, head to the south of town to check out the Kaufman Lions at their home stadium -- and make some new friends along the way! This is a big local football town, so be prepared to show your support.
Since there are so many interconnected highways meeting in Kaufman, there are plenty of restaurants to choose from, like Colunga's Meat Market, Chicken Express, Sonic, and Carrera's Authentic Mexican. Eat up!
