Also known as the city with the funny name, there's nothing wishy-washy about North Weeki Wachee. Located in north central Florida, an hour north of Tampa and within proximity to the Gulf Coast, North Weeki Wachee is home to over 8,500 residents that are just as proud of their city's quirky name as they are of the local quality of living. Seminole for "little spring," the city's name is a reference to the area's abundance of aquatic resources and landmarks. A plethora of attractions and waterfront homes make North Weeki Wachee a primary destination for resort-style living in Florida.
Places for rent in North Weeki Wachee primarily consist of single-family homes, townhouses and condominiums for lease. Most of these units are attractive, spacious and well apportioned with luxurious yards and front lawns -- suitable for large families or those looking into outdoor entertaining.
