Edgewater, Florida: Known as Hawks Park up until 1924, Edgewater now survives largely on its tourism industry, which is fueled by its proximity to the Indian River and beaches along the Atlantic.
Lovingly referred to as "The Hospitality City," Edgewater is a thriving city whose population density makes it appealing to those who want to live near the beach without being subjected to the masses of people living in and visiting Daytona Beach.
