Prices are now down 5.9% year-over-year. The median rent in Universal City fell by 1.6% over the course of September, and has now decreased by a total of 5.9% over the past 12 months. Universal City’s rent growth over the past year has has fallen behind both the state (-2.4%) and national averages (-0.8%).
Nine months into the year, rents in Universal City have fallen 2.5%. This is a slower rate of growth compared to what the city was experiencing at this point last year: from January to September 2024 rents had increased 0.7%.
