Property DescriptionFull of character, beautifully cared for, and now featuring air conditioning on both levels, this charming country Craftsman blends vintage personality with thoughtful modern comforts. Far from ordinary, this home has been lovingly maintained over the years, with its remarkably well-kept condition, fresh-looking finishes, and inviting atmosphere reflecting the care invested in preserving its unique character.
Step inside and discover the details that make this home so memorable--ceramic tile floors, shiplap ceilings with exposed beams, a decorative glass eyebrow window, and beautiful hardwood flooring throughout much of the home. These distinctive Craftsman touches create a warm, storybook-like atmosphere, while two recently installed mini-split systems provide efficient heating and air conditioning upstairs and downstairs, bringing year-round comfort to this classic home.
The flexible layout offers two bedrooms on the main level, along with an oversized full bathroom featuring laundry hookups. Upstairs, a spacious third bedroom and additional bonus room provide wonderful options for a home office, creative studio, or hobby space. A subtle peek-a-boo view of Liberty Bay adds another special touch to the upper level.
The thoughtfully updated kitchen features newer cabinetry and stainless steel appliances, opening into a generous dining area with a charming built-in hutch. Throughout the home, the combination of original architectural details, carefully maintained finishes, and practical updates creates a space that feels both nostalgic and comfortably livable.
Outside, the wraparound porch invites you to enjoy a quiet morning coffee or unwind at the end of the day. The yard offers room to enjoy the outdoors, with blackberry hedges bordering the neighboring park and adjacent public land lending a sense of openness and privacy. Additional basement storage and ample parking add everyday convenience.
What makes this home especially appealing is the balance of its age and condition. Rather than losing its personality to modernization, it has retained the craftsmanship and quirks that make older homes so special, while benefiting from years of attentive upkeep and meaningful improvements. A delightful opportunity to enjoy the charm of a classic Northwest Craftsman with the comfort of modern amenities.
