12 Underhill Road

Hi All,

I will be going traveling for a couple of months and am looking to sublet my room. The room itself is well-lit (2 windows), has a nice-sized closet and a nice bathroom right next to it. Many people have expressed interest in using this space as an artist studio. There is plenty of space for multiple easels, storage, desks and a ceramic wheel. But it has served me nicely as a bedroom.

I live with 4 people on a sprawling 10-acre estate in Locust Valley. The property is amazing. We have a pond, a bamboo forest, multiple fire pits and were backed up against 50-acres of preserved trails. Its the perfect sanctuary for anyone who likes peace and privacy.

The train station is a ten-minute-walk away, and the train takes about one hour to get to Penn Station, Manhattan. Hofstra, NYIT and LIU Post universities are all close.

I will be traveling between Feb. 1st and either May or June. I can be flexible about the dates. We can figure it out together.

The rent is incredibly affordable considering the location and amenities. Its 500 dollars per month, plus utilities (which are almost always less than 100 during the winter). Utilities include cable and wifi. We have a washer and drier on the premises, a dishwasher and loads of parking.

Preferred applicants will have proof of income, good references and a positive attitude. First and last months rent due at time of agreement.
