The Spring into Summer Festival, which features fireworks, music and food, is Oak Grove's main event each year. The festival attracts well over 30,000 visitors, which is impressive when you consider that the city is home to 7,489 people.

Located in western Kentucky right near the Tennessee border, this town in Christian County is one of the Bluegrass State's fastest growing regions. Incorporated in 1974, this relatively young city is partly famous for Fort Campbell, an army installation that began operations during the Second World War. However, the area's history dates back to the 1820s, when it was mostly farms. In the 1890s, a railroad line transformed the area from a farming town to a railroad town. Anyway, once you experience Oak Grove's welcoming atmosphere, proud history and ample amenities, it's easy to see why the population here has increased from 2,863 in 1990 to nearly 8,000 today.
