At the time of the 2010 Census, Glen Avon had a population of 20,199, which represented an increase from 14,853 in 2000. Once you realize that Glen Avon is just an hour away from Los Angeles, you can see why people choose to live in this lovely, sophisticated suburban neighborhood and commute to LA. Technically speaking, Glen Avon is an incorporated part of Jurupa Valley, which was redeveloped into a city in 2011. This gives Glen Avon the feel of a great big neighborhood, which is just fine for its many residents.
