Home Bridge

Home is a feeling that everyone should own.

Closing the opportunity divide

All of us, at times in our lives, have needed a boost - a supportive bridge of friends and family to help get us to that next, best place. Many of our community members don't have that same network. A comfortable, short-term home, along with the engaged support of conscientious partners, can make a lasting difference for those individuals on their paths to independence and success. Right now, the comfort and security of home has never been more important.

Home Bridge Programs

Opportunity Youth

We’re partnering with Equity Residential and Year Up, a national nonprofit that strives to close the opportunity divide by investing in highly motivated, underserved young adults. Year Up combines job skills and internships to help ambitious students realize a path to self-sufficiency. Many Year Up participants experience housing fragility, and a home bridge can meaningfully influence their chances of success - in the program, and in the world at large.

Disaster Relief

California has experienced destructive wildfires in recent years that have displaced record numbers of families. Together with Equity Residential, Veritas, Prodesse, Greystar and LeFever Mattson, alongside Housing Industry Foundation, Silicon Valley Bank and Fashion Furniture, we helped displaced families find home for the holidays and into the new year. We expanded our relief efforts with Henssler Property Management after a series of tornadoes struck Alabama in one of the deadliest storms on record.

Medical Support

Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) provides access to medical care for critically ill children. Oftentimes, these young children must receive specialized treatment far from home, and families are separated or unable to obtain the needed care. Together with Veritas and others, we’re providing local home stays. This stability helps young patients get the medical care they need, while families have the security to embrace healing with hope and courage.

Survivors of Violence

We’re partnering with Serena and Venus Williams’ Yetunde Price Resource Center (YPRC) and Equity Residential to help victims of violence have a safe landing. Named after Serena and Venus’ late sister who was tragically killed in an act of violence, YPRC ensures anyone impacted by violence can access the resources they need to survive and thrive. Together we’re helping women in the YPRC community enjoy a comfortable home as they get a fresh start.
