Broadview Heights is a perfect location, strategically speaking. Situated at the crossroads of Ohio's major highways, surrounded by golf courses and protected forests, and just close enough to Cleveland for an easy commute, the mantra "location, location, location" is what has many Ohioans navigating their way down to this little city. The heights have seen a ton of recent growth, and the cityscape has changed to meet the needs of an ever-rising population.
Local property rentals come in a variety of different styles, from classic brick buildings, to the typical 1970's suburban architecture, to brand-spankin' new homes with all the modern bells and whistles. Rental rates range from as low as $500 for a simple one or two-bedroom apartment, $600 - $800 for a luxury apartment, and $1,000 - $1,500 for condos, townhomes, and single-family rental homes. And, no matter what or where you rent around here, you’re likely to be just a stone's throw away from the golf course, the park, the ice rink, and the local restaurants and sports bars.
With all the different styles of property rentals, you’ll see that the lists of amenities vary greatly from place to place. There are small, brick buildings with just the basics, such as four walls and a roof. There are some nicer (and pricier) rentals with lots of extra perks, such as a garage, swimming pool, fitness center, clubhouse, playground, and even a dog park. A handful of places also have on-site laundry facilities. So, while price is always a factor to consider, you should also take into account the convenience of your community's amenities as well.
If you're a proud pet owner bringing along your dog or cat, you’ll be happy to know that pet friendly apartments and other rental properties can be found throughout the city with relative ease. However, most places have different attitudes about specific breeds and sizes, so be sure to check with each individual pet policy. Also, be prepared for some pretty hefty pet fees, usually costing around $300 - $500.
This part of Ohio is a not-so-hidden treasure. The low prices, surrounding beauty, and convenience are just too good to pass up. So, you had better get into the swing of things and find that perfect new home before someone else does. Your new Ohioan life is waiting. Enjoy!
