"Arden Hills, that's where I want to be!" --Dave Ryan, radio personality
Arden Hills is best known as the St. Paul suburb that nearly became the home of the official Minnesota Vikings stadium. A tract of land set aside for an ammunition plant would have become a new stadium, while also enjoying residential and commercial updates. Although the stadium's designated site is, in fact, Minneapolis, Arden Hills is still a special city. It boasts a great mix of attributes, but most important of all, a friendly vibe.

Moving to Arden Hills
If you were a bit bitter about the whole Vikings thing, then Arden Hills is beckoning to you. But before you can join the locals, you must find a place to live. If you're looking into home ownership, then Arden Hills will definitely be your cup of tea so long as you give yourself a month or two to search for a place to call home.
Renters don't despair. You may need several months to look for a spot, but having every single necessary document prepared will help you get moved in quicker. Make sure to have copies of your ID, bank statements, letters of references, rental history, a credit report, and enough for a security deposit to, well, secure yourself a home.
Arden Hills Neighborhoods
The two main regions of this suburb are vastly different, with homes for rent in Arden Hills' northern area distinguished by their relative isolation and peaceful atmosphere. Southern Arden Hills is busier, but is a great area to reside for anyone interested in taking advantage of the local transit system.
North Arden Hills: The northern portion of Arden Hills came close to becoming an official NFL football stadium and major commercial area, but with the updated Vikings stadium staying in Minneapolis, this area remains an ammunition plant. This is not necessarily a bad thing, however, as most of this land is wild. Residents in the northern region of Arden Hills enjoy plenty of natural scenery and a sense of peace and quiet not available elsewhere in the suburb.
South Arden Hills: Those on the hunt for recreational and entertainment opportunities need look no further than South Arden Hills, the home of several gorgeous lakes and the popular Flaherty's Arden Bowl. Shopping and dining opportunities abound along Lexington Avenue, which spans the border between Arden Hills and Shoreview.
Living In Arden Hills
No, Arden Hills did not score the Vikings stadium, and yes, fans are still bitterly disappointed, But those living in Arden Hills actually prefer to not be within a mile of the Vikings stadium, which almost certainly would have created a crazy amount of traffic and noise.
