The small room functions well as the bedroom or office, with many shelves for organizing clothing and other items. A small pass through connects both rooms. The bathroom is adjacent to the connected rooms at the top of the stairs. The rooms are semi furnished with a double size bed, dresser, night stand and lamp.
This is available in a beautiful, historic, remodeled 1780s shipbuilders' home located in Franklin's town center. (The property was formerly the Elephant Inn B&B and Franklin Tourist Information Center.)
The house is 9 miles from Ellsworth, 22 miles from Bar Harbor, and 38 miles from Brewer/Bangor, with deeded access to the ocean - Taunton Bay is just across the road. Easy access to many diverse trails including the Downeast Sunrise Trail. Just down the road are public boat landings.
