This is a room with a private bathroom in my home for 1 occupant only. This room has a closet, with extra storage space between the bedroom and bathroom. Reliable high-speed wi-fi throughout the house. Shared living space includes two living rooms, a large kitchen, coin-operated washer and dryer. The backyard has a fire pit and lots of open space.
This beautiful, historic, remodeled 1780s shipbuilders' home is located in Franklin's town center. (The property was formerly the Elephant Inn B&B and Franklin Tourist Information Center.)
The house is 9 miles from Ellsworth, 22 miles from Bar Harbor, and 38 miles from Brewer/Bangor, with deeded access to the ocean - Taunton Bay is just across the road. Easy access to many diverse trails including the Downeast Sunrise Trail. Just down the road are public boat landings.
UTILITIES ARE INCLUDED( Owner pays for water, sewer, heat, electric, trash, internet, yard and driveway maintenance). Again, single occupancy only and no pets. One year lease required. Current residency of this very large home: 4 people full-time, 1 very part-time. Everyone gets along well, when you actually cross paths- it seems like you have this place to yourself most of the time.
To rent, first complete the application. If approved, a signed lease, First, Last months' rent and security deposit required before move-in ($2250).
If you want to schedule a viewing of the property, a completed application is required. Application fee is $55 This fee will be fully refunded with signed rental agreement and payment.
