Berkeley: Served by a number of major roadways, including Interstate 70, Interstate 170, and Interstate 270, in addition to Lambert-St. Louis International Airport, which is merely five miles from central town, Berkeley makes for a commuter's dream!

Buckthorn Drive: Offering relatively easy access to Interstate 170 and with three schools situated within a mile, together with a single restaurant -- Hunan Chinese Express, on Frost Ave -- this area offers a small selection of 1 bedroom apartments in Berkeley.

Brenton Avenue: With access to Interstate 70 and no less than fifteen restaurants located very close by, including Las Palmas Mexican and Yesterday's, both of which are on Woodson Rd, Brenton Ave is an attractive choice for a rental place.

Natural Bridge Road: Located very close to a gas station and fifteen different restaurants, including Norah's on Natural Bridge Rd and Erio's Pizza & Restaurant on Woodson Rd, Natural Bridge Rd also provides easy access to Interstates 70, 170, as well as Interstate 270.

Living in Berkeley

Berkeley is served by Interstate 70, which generally runs parallel to the Missouri River, meaning you can stop off for a cool dip on your travels if you are so inclined. Interstate 170, also referred to as the Inner Belt Expressway, connects Berkeley to Hazelwood, Richmond Heights, Brentwood, and a number of other suburbs in the vicinity. Interstate 270 makes up for a large section of the outer belt freeway within the metropolitan area of St. Louis. The Lambert-St. Louis International Airport serves flights on both a domestic and international basis and is located five miles to the northwest of Berkeley, on Lambert International Blvd.

There's not a whole lot going down in Berkeley itself, but if you do want to check out the local Boeing plant, you have the opportunity to visit the James S. McDonnell Prologue Room, where there's a museum exhibition showing an array or Boeing memorabilia. If you fancy eating out, then try the Waffle House on JS McDonnell Blvd where you'll be treated to breakfasts and brunches in the true American style. Do go easy on the maple syrup though. At Steak 'n Shake on Natural Bridge, famed for the Original American Hamburger and their hand-dipped Milk-Shakes, you'll get more than you pay for with respect to the oversized portions. Time to loosen up the belt and let it all hang out. Jack in the Box on Natural Bridge Road caters to the fast food junkies out there. Drive thru or sit in options at this joint -- you choose which.
