Easley is a small city in South Carolina that is located in both Pickens County and Anderson County. Founded in 1791 as Rockville, modern Easley is home to nearly 20,000 people. This is a city incorporated together from the two historical towns of Pickensville and Easley, the latter winning the final title due to its local railway and growing population. When the two towns' borders met as of the latter part of the 19th century, Pickensville became nothing more than a small neighborhood within the larger town.

Moving to Easley

Despite the lower overall price for rental homes in the center of Easley, this city is more expensive than at least half of the other towns and cities in South Carolina. Throughout Easley, the cost of living is a little expensive, but you can save a little bit of money when it comes to utilities.

Crestview, City Center and Glenwood are all contained without other outlying neighborhoods, making these the smallest but most densely-populated and built-up areas of Easley. Life in Easley

If you're talking about the northern part of the city, or the southern part, it's pretty empty and lame in regards to food. Along Highway 93 and Highway 123 in the center of town, however, there are all kinds of restaurants set up to appease the daily commuter! Easley residents are pretty lucky that these two major highways run through their town, or they might get stuck cooking every single night of the week. As it stands, however, people who live here can dine out on anything from pizza to pancakes to sushi and BBQ. Excellent!
