Value: I’ve been in higher quality apartments, newer, and larger for less. It’s not horrible, but I do not feel the cost of the apartment I am in represents the value. When I moved in, it did not appear as if the apartment had been thoroughly prepared for a new tenant. The oven had a bad heating element and didn’t work, there were several holes left in the walls where the previous tenants had window treatments and wall hangings, and the carpet needed to be vacuumed better. After noticing small debris in random areas throughout the apartment, I found a broken finger nail in the bedroom on the floor and it kind of grossed me out. I was also under the assumption I was going to get a unit with a garage underneath based off the floor plan I saw online and what was sent via email. I understand that a garage wasn’t included now, and the leasing agent who did my walkthrough with me clarified, but the floor plan online should be revised because it is misleading. There also seems to be ample amount of parking spaces; however, the residents who have garages do not use them for their vehicles, and the parking area directly in front of my building does not have enough space for everyone’s vehicles, and I’ve had to park further away several times.
