Micco is a community in Brevard County, Florida. It has a population of 9052 and is part of the Palm Bay area. It's part of the Sebastian River Area, which is one of Florida's authentic Treasure Coast Communities on the Indian River Lagoon. The area is also home to Pelican Island, America's first National Wildlife Refuge. It's situated on the central east coast of Florida, right on the Pacific so if you're a beach lover, you will dig it here. There's plenty to do in the way of watersports, from jet skiing to swimming to surfing. The area is also known for the treasure hunters who come to search the beaches for gold and jewelry that has washed up on the shore. Who knows, maybe you could find some hidden treasures to help cover your apartment deposit.
If you're looking for places for rent in Micco, you'll be happy to know the area has a high vacancy rate. This is probably largely because many people keep homes here as vacation spots where they can flock to when it gets too cold and snowy up north. This means that looking for an apartment in the hot summer months is your best bet. Even though it may be a sweaty adventure, you're far more likely to find one of these open rental properties than you would be in the winter, when it's much cooler and balmy out. It's beach weather all year though, so you can't really go wrong living here.
It's not a bad idea to use an apartments locator who can help you track down apartment homes that fit all of your needs. Speaking of your needs, what are they? Do you want a hi rise apartment building with tons of neighbors close by? Or do you prefer a house on the beach where you have a little space to yourself? Are you looking for 3 bedroom apartments in Micco? One bedroom apartments? The more you're confident about what you're looking for, the sooner you can get started looking at places. Try to see a handful of places all over the city - you don't want to lock yourself into one neighborhood without checking out all there is to offer. Above all else, have fun with it. Looking for an apartment should be exciting!
What you'll need: When you head this way to find your new home, take some time to gather up all the different paperwork you'll need in order to rent an apartment in Micco. You're going to need to have a copy of your ID, your credit report, bank statements, pay stubs, letter of employment and references. It can be a pain to get all this stuff together so be sure to do it in advance or you might risk losing out on an apartment you love. Some landlords require a fee in order to run your credit check, so be prepared to pay up to $75 in addition to your first months' rent and deposit. The good news is that prices here are relatively affordable, so you won't have to shell out as much as you might have thought.
