However, when you begin checking out apartment rentals, you can stay relatively safe and take advantage of the city’s numerous cheap apartments by sticking to specific areas.

The best place to start your apartment hunt is in the southeastern portion of Norwood. This location is great because it’s just across the highway from the upscale Cincinnati neighborhood known as Hyde Park. This will also put you in close proximity to Rockwood Commons and Pavilion, your area’s premier shopping destination, where you can find plenty of great shops, as well as dining and entertainment establishments. Norwood’s western border is located along Xavier University, a private Jesuit college with about 6,000 students.
