In many ways, Austintown is very much the perfect, rural college town, and it's definitely one that lets students explore woods and waterholes alike. Even if you somehow reach that point where you feel like you’ve taken it all in, the Canadian border is only a four-hour drive along the stunning banks of Lake Erie. As if that weren’t enough, the town is home to an additional four parks, including the 17-acre Wedgewood Park, which contain gorgeous streams, paths where your pooch can walk sans leash, and hiking trails that show off the scenic, central American views of northern Ohio.
