This part of town has a good mix of residences and businesses. You can find local dining favorites like Jade Village here too! This part of town is closest to NYC, so if you're thinking of driving back and forth for work, this is the hood for you.
Northern Chestnut Ridge: This part of town is mostly residential. The streets are lined with houses and trees, and there are lots of quiet neighborhoods. Ultimately, this probably isn't the best place to look for a rental because most people here live in homes they own. If you want to get around town, or you want to get to nearby towns, it pays to have a car here. While trains will get you far away, they aren't a very useful way to run errands around these spread out suburbs, and walking and biking aren't too popular here.
