Yes, East End is less than half an hour from Little Rock, but this town is most likely to please people who want country-style living within easy driving distance to the city. What does this mean? Do expect apartments, homes, and maybe even mobile homes. Clearly delineated neighborhoods? Not so much. High-rise apartment buildings? Definitely not. Living in East End

East End is the place to live if you love mom-and-pop establishments, community parades, and lots of wide-open spaces. Want to go for a run or hike? You're covered. Crave concerts and nightclubs? Hop in your car and drive to Little Rock. It's about 20 minutes away. There is a little bit of public transportation, but don't count on it for getting everywhere you want to go. Most people drive here. If you don't, get ready for long waits and sore feet.
