Meanwhile, Rutland also has some great small town attractions, including a lovely historic downtown, two shopping centers, and great medical facilities. The college of St. Joseph, located in the western portion of town, keeps the area young with its 500 undergraduates.

If you’re looking for furnished apartments for rent, direct your search just outside of the city limits in Rutland Town. Here you’ll find a development that offers extended stay suites of various sizes. Two bedrooms here range from $900 to $1,000 a month.
If you’re relocating to Rutland with a four-legged friend, allow yourself plenty of time to secure a pet friendly rental. While there are a few rentals that are both cat and dog friendly, many downtown-area apartments and rental homes throughout town have strict no pet policies.
