It's basically a suburb of Burlington, so a lot of folks use it as a bedroom community and commute up to Burlington for work. Moving to Winooski

Northern Winooski: This part of town is the most rural and is tucked back into the hills and mountainous region. You are sure to be rewarded if you bring your search for apartments to North Street.

Western Winooski: This area is west of Malletts Bay Avenue and is where you'll find Landry Park and the St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, two beautiful points of interest.
