The major thoroughfares that connect Alcoa include U.S. Route 129, which is also known as the Airport Highway and Alcoa Highway, travels from Alcoa to Knoxville. The TN State Route 335 connects the city with eastern and western Blount County. Interstate 140/Tennessee State Route 162 links the city with west Knoxville and Oak Ridge.
