If you go to Georgetown Park, be sure to look at the memorial erected in the memory of Civil War veterans. If you'd rather go look at the lake, Barathaven Park has one, as well as sports fields and a walking trail. Don't miss many of the seasonal events that happen at the Dardenne Prairie City Hall Park. This park hosts musical events, a splash park in the summer and concessions if you're hungry.
If you've exhausted all your options for a weekend of fun in Dardenne Prairie, skip on down the road to St. Louis for the afternoon. Busch Stadium, home of the champion Cardinals, is sure to please with sports excitement and fabulous views of the downtown St. Louis skyline. You could enjoy a tour of the nearby Budweiser brewery when you're finished watching the game, or see one of the many other historic sites and museums St. Louis has to offer. When you're tuckered out, head back up the road to your peaceful Dardenne Prairie abode.
