The Mitchell County Hospital is also located here too. It's a good place to live if you want to have dining and shopping options within walking distance.
North Camilla: The north side of town is where you'll find Oakview Cemetery, one of the city's prettiest spots. Martin Luther King Jr. Road runs right across this section and it's almost 100% residential, making it a great place for people who like a little more privacy and wide, pretty streets.

Camilla has a surprising amount to offer considering it's a town of not even 6,000 people! It's known for its special events year-round, including the May Gnat Days Festival and the June Lite Pro Invitational Tennis Tournament. It's considered one of the world's best places for tennis. They have heaps of beautiful antebellum bed and breakfasts for visiting guests and the whole area is filled with gorgeous oak trees that are hundreds of years old. They are famous for their delicious restaurants, as well, like The Bistro downtown and the Huddle House on Highway 19. Renting an apartment in Camilla might turn out to be one of the best decisions you've ever made!
