Properties are still springing up in Stone Ridge, so you should have no problem bagging yourself a home for rent. The range of options here is very good, considering that all the homes have been built in such a short period. You can choose from any type of property, from generously sized single-family homes to studio apartments for rent. What you can't really choose from are neighborhoods. It's still a growing town, so maybe when neighborhoods come into the picture, you can get a say in what's what.
Come on down and take a look at the luxury condos and duplexes for rent in Stone Ridge. Or perhaps you would rather browse through tree-lined streets of gorgeous big rental houses? Just don't forget to bring your paperwork with you when you go to check out a place. What do we mean by that? Don't worry; you won't be drowning in a mountain of forms. Just remember to bring along a recent credit check and proof that you are actually making enough money to pay the rent. If you have references from previous landlords attesting to the good behavior of you and your pets (if you have any), then that can only help matters along.
Stone Ridge is mere minutes from Chantilly. Simply hop on the Lee Jackson Memorial Highway and you could be there in as little as 15 minutes. Owning a car is extremely useful for making this journey, but closer to home, you can easily get by on two legs. The Stone Ridge community is designed to be easy to walk around, with pleasant trails connecting all parts of the community. As if strolling around your neighborhood isn't enough exercise (and let's be fair, your doctor would probably prefer you to do more than just that), then you can take advantage of the pool, basketball courts or tennis courts. Oh, and there are swim lessons running during the summer, so not being able to swim is no excuse for not getting in your 20 lengths each morning!
Stone Ridge might be a young community, but it is surprisingly mature in terms of how well it can take care of you. Here, you will find everything you need: grocery stores, banks, restaurants (check out Vocelli PIzza or Glory Days Grill), gas stations and medical facilities. There is even a farmers market every Saturday, as well as plenty of seasonal events to keep you entertained. Easter egg hunt, anyone? Surely you're not too old to enjoy fun and games, particularly when they involve chocolate!
