The Village of Richfield (formally township) is located about 30 minutes northwest of the city of Milwaukee. With a population of 11,300, according to the 2010 U.S. Census, the village is a short drive to Lake Michigan. Richfield is not just a one-traffic-light town. It was once serviced by two railroads and developed into area full of commerce surrounded by scenic, fertile land. Farming and agriculture has been a constant industry in the village. Its biggest industry is manufacturing, and it is well complimented with commercial establishments.
Richfield offers a variety of housing. You can find everything from lake lots to mansions. The average home values are generally higher in the village compared to Wisconsin state averages. You can find an apartment in Richfield but it will be a challenge because more people own their homes as opposed to renting. Local parks have areas for sports such as baseball, basketball, and tennis. There are plenty of other recreational activities too in Richfield including golf, fishing, and swimming. Richfield Days is an annual festival with music, vendors, games, rides, and even a softball tournament. There's also a parade and a fireworks display. Those looking for nightlife can find some action at Madam Belle's Silver Dollar Saloon, Fat Charlie's, or the Hairy Lemon Irish Pub. Richfield is a community with a lot of history and if you're looking for country living, this might just be the place for you.
