Mukwonago is a small village community located in the county of Waukesha, Wisconsin. At the time of the last major census, the total population was at about 7,200 people and it is continuing to grow strong today. A small portion of the village extends into Walworth County and into the Town of East Troy. This community is located in the southernmost area of the state of Wisconsin close to the border of Illinois and the large metropolitan city of Chicago. It is also near several major bodies of water including Upper and Lower Phantom Lake, Potter Lake and the great Lake Michigan. Mukwonago is only several hours to the south by car from Milwaukee and is about twenty miles northwest of Kenosha, Wisconsin.
