The charming community of Quincy is a small city located in the county of Grant, Washington. At the time of the last major census back in 2010, the total population was at about 6,700 people. Quincy is located in the central part of Washington State halfway between the city of Spokane to the east and greater Seattle to the west - two hours either way. It is also adjacent to the impressive Mount Rainier, one of the largest peaks in Washington, and the Franklin D. Roosevelt Lake just north of the upper Spokane Valley. That means both nature and city life are practically at your doorstep.

Crater / Adrian - This sprawling neighborhood is located in the northern end of the Quincy community. Residents have easy access to a number of attractions such as the views at East Park, the roaring Columbia River, and Stratford Wildlife Recreation area. There are also many cafes and shops adjacent to the neighborhood, like the Sunfire Grille.
City Center - If you're looking to be right in the center of the action in Quincy, you will love living in the City Center neighborhood. Here potential residents can choose from apartments such as The Park View Apartments on E Street - a nice choice to look into for something a bit elegant. Residents here can easily access the Ancient Lake area wineries. Keep that corkscrew handy!

Nature lovers will certainly fall in love with the idea of exploring Quincy's Ancient Lakes Area - the ideal spot for hiking and traversing hills and forests. Quincy is adjacent to several major natural areas as well including the Teanaway Community Forest, Stratford Wildlife Recreation Area, Mount Stuart, and the Columbia River, where windsurfing just might become a past time. There are many spots for hiking, biking, picnicking, and bird watching at each of these locations. all you need are some hiking shoes and a pair of binoculars.
If you're looking for a great round of golf, you won't want to miss out on the Colockum Ridge Golf Course or the Sunserra Public Golf Course nearby. Both locations have wonderful 18 hole courses, fine dining and more casual restaurants, and offer well laid out courses.

Community Events
The city also hosts a number of fun events throughout the year such as live outdoor concerts at the Gorge Amphitheater, an annual Bluegrass Festival with a number of well known national acts, fishing days during trout season, and a large scale Fourth of July celebration with fireworks. Whether its freshly caught mountain trout or a musical good time, there's always something to do in this community! If you're looking to just take it easy and walk around town however, that's just fine too - there are a number of fine boutiques, cafes, restaurants, coffee houses, and antique stores in Quincy as well, like Akins Harvest Foods or The Lovely Grape.
Nearby Fun
You also get the joy of living an easy to traverse distance from major cities like Seattle. To get there, though, you'll need a car - and your own vehicle will come in handy to explore the wilderness areas and parks in the region as well. Public transportation is erratic so it is best to get a car of your own before moving here. But commuting time is under thirty minutes, so once you get behind the wheel, you won't have to drive far to get to work - which means plenty of time to enjoy the many pleasures this town offers.
