If you're searching for a country setting, then Brownwood is the perfect place for all your rough-and-tumble cowboy pass times. The annual rodeo is always a good show. And, families will also be happy to know that Brownwood has plenty of activities for the kids, from cow-rustling and pig-raising 4H programs to youth sports and summer camps.

Those moving to town with pets will need to do a little extra research. Not many apartment communities allow pets, and if your pet is dog, well then you really have your work cut out for you.
