Welcome to Utica where you’re just about as far from New York City as Montreal, QC, Canada. The name was actually chosen from suggestions offered at the Revolution-era Bagg's Tavern (a watering hole of George Washington himself). The winner was Utica – Don't ask what name came in second. It's actually named for a city in Tunisia, if that makes it more exciting. With that, let the apartment finding and adventure begin!
Settling down in a new apartment in the Upstate New York city of Utica located on the Erie Canal will expose you to the rich European heritage and a diverse present day influence from many countries.
