Moving to Wedgefield

Wedgefield is an upscale subdivision centered around their golf and country club. Therefore, apartments for rent are few or non-existent. This does not mean home rentals are not available though. Expect to pay a premium to enjoy the lifestyle this little community has to offer though.

If you are a nature lover, the Tosohatchee State Preserve and St. Johns National Wildlife Refuge are a short drive away. There are plenty of lakes for fishing, boating, and water skiing. Enjoying a quiet walk in the country is a nice change from the traffic and bustling streets of a big city.

The Reserve at Wedgefield: This is a subdivision of Cape Orl Estates and only has a population of 69 residents as of the 2010 census. If you enjoy quiet country living with mild Florida winters then you will love The Reserve at Wedgefield. If you decide you would like to have dinner at a five star restaurant and go shopping at some of the greatest malls and stores south of New York City then Orlando is only minutes away. Orlando is a large tourist city with a booming nightlife and plethora of shopping, dining, and entertainment opportunities. This does not include the many theme parks that are available to explore at a moment's notice. The city has a lot to offer including theatre, an orchestra, fine dining, and exclusive clubs.

Rental Opportunities Near Wedgefield

An apartment complex in Wedgefield is easy to find, though they are located just outside of Wedgefield proper. They include the Flats at Avalon Park, Stoneybrook Apartments, the Grandville on Avalon Park, and Tortuga Bay at Waterford. So moving to the the area is not very difficult.

With so many apartment complexes, deals on rent and deposits are certain to be had. especially on one bedroom apartments. Having pets over 35 pounds will limit your opportunities but with the competition to fill units it is certainly not out of the question to find pet friendly apartments that accept large dogs.
