It sums up a way of life, of living in a spacious (dream) home surrounded by farm land, fertile enough to plant crops and even maintain livestock, in a cool (not humid) climate. Many people like this kind of tropical "country"--approximately 23,961 of them, from the last census count. At Golden Gate Estates, you may even hear 'the call of the wild' on occasions, depending on how far east of town you choose to live. There are small homes, there are very large beautiful homes, and then there are magnificent mansions. There is definitely something here for everyone. Scoring an apartment with hardwood floors can be a big win for Golden Gate renters. They`re typically a beautiful addition to your space. They’re also easier to clean and sweep, particularly if you have pets.
However, there are some downsides. Hardwood floors carry sounds. They can also make your apartment noisy for your roommates and downstairs neighbors.
Ask the landlord or property manager about the hardwood floors before signing a lease. Are they actually hardwood or a popular composite alternative? The latter is probably easier to clean and care for than the real thing.
