Northern Pohick Road: Pohick Road runs all through Newington Forest, and it empties out north onto Highway 286. While it's also highly residential, you'll also get to hang out at Lake Mercer whenever you want.

East of Pohick Road: Anyone east of Pohick Road will love that they're next to Pohick Creek. Come on, everyone loves creeks. Oh, you don't? Okay, fine. Just head over to the Saratoga Shopping Center instead.

Living in Newington Forest

Seeing as Newington Forest is more of a community than a city, it's no wonder why there aren't really any commercial areas to speak of within it. Don't fret, though; this doesn't mean that the only benefit of living here is a safe community with nice homes. Join the Masters
