That might sound like a joke, but Port Clinton is reputed to be the Walleye Capital of the World and has its yearly Walleye Drop to prove it. The town is also known for its appealing Lake Erie shoreline, fishing right in the downtown area and a ton of activities for the outdoorsy type. If you're a couch potato, you can still find a home here. Just don't expect your neighbors to stay home chewing the fat with you.
