Northern Ruidoso: There are some tourist lodgings in the northern part of Ruidoso, but all in all, this is the mainly residential part of town. It might be because this part of town is closest to Albuquerque, making the drive out of town easiest from here. It's also a lovely place filled with suburban, residential streets, easy access to the mountains and ski resorts, and great small-town amenities.
