Mission Rent Report: July 2025
Welcome to the Apartment List July 2025 Rent Report for Mission, KS. Currently, the overall median rent in the city stands at $1,250, roughly the same as last month. Prices remain down 1.0% year-over-year. The median rent in Mission rose by 0.4% over the course of June, and has now decreased by a total of 1.0% over the past 12 months. Mission’s rent growth over the past year has has fallen behind the state average (3.4%) and is similar to the national average (-0.7%).
Six months into the year, rents in Mission have risen 3.2%. This is a slower rate of growth compared to what the city was experiencing at this point last year: from January to June 2024 rents had increased 7.4%.
If we expand our view to the wider Kansas City metro area, the median rent is $1,352 meaning that the median price in Mission ($1,250) is 7.5% lower than the price across the metro as a whole. Metro-wide annual rent growth stands at 2.1%, above the rate of rent growth within just the city.
