There's a lot more to Aberdeen than its adorable name.There are some amazing playtime adventures to be had at Storybook Land, where you can play princess in the castle, walk the yellow brick road through the Land of Oz, or just ride the train all day long. Just a hop and a skip away from playtime at Storybook Land, there is a great park for swimming, picnicking, camping, sand volleyball, and kart racing. For boaters, anglers, hikers, bikers, and horseback riders, Richmond Lake is the place to be. Those of the artistic breed can find like-minded creatives at the ArtWorks Cooperative Gallery. Yes, there's something for everyone here and people are starting to find out.
Unfortunately, a growing popularity means growing rental rates. Newer apartment communities are the easiest to find because of their online presence. Take a drive through town and keep an eye out for “FOR RENT” signs, check the classifieds in the local newspaper, and check the bulletin boards at nearby grocery stores and local churches, if your options are too limited here.
If you are an apartment dweller in search of a long list of amenities, then be sure to check out the newer complexes.
