The village of Depew actually straddles the border of two different townships. Therefore, people living west of Transit Road are technically residents of Cheektowaga, whereas those to the east are officially residents of Lancaster. Talk about split identity!
Covering an area of just 5 square miles, Depew may not be the biggest town, but it's a friendly place to live.
