If you have to choose between the calm and tranquility of a beachside townhouse living or the thrill and zest of a village-city vibe, what would you pick? You don't have to. At Myrtle Grove, you can enjoy the best of both worlds.
Myrtle Grove is one of the urban-coastal communities in the Cape Fear region of Wilmington, North Carolina. It is referred to as a Census-Designated Area or CDA alluding to its populous location. It covers 7.3 square miles and is part of New Hanover County, where Carolina Beach, a certified tourist magnet, is found. This accounts for Myrtle Grove's large population in the summer, a time where there are no locals or tourists, just revelers.
Whether it's to beat the heat or for work-related relocation, apartments to rent in Myrtle Grove may require a background check and your success at bagging your preferred nest depends on your capacity to pay. Hence, be ready with files of your sources of income (whether from a business or from employment), recent payslips or business profit statement, letters of reference from credible contacts or persons of authority and sets of personal identification cards to verify if you are indeed who you claim to be and not create suspicion. If you're Tony Stark, don't show an ID with your Ironman mask photo.
Once you have settled with your new landlord, schedule a move-in date that's most convenient for you. While the weather is all good and dry in the summer, remember that it's that time of the year when tourist influx is highest. Expect some road congestion on the way and there might be density issues even while still at the airport, if you're flying in.
Here's a quick guide. The hottest months are from June to August while the most humid days are between August and September, at the turn of summer. September brings in surprising rains. Snowfall is heaviest in December and January.

To drive home this point, again, if you're Tony Stark, Myrtle Grove is no place for your Tesla Roadster.

While driving is preferred, the Wilmington Amtrak station on Harnett Street is nine miles outside of Myrtle Grove and is a fast alternative for day trippers. The New Hanover County Airport and Carolina Beach Airport are main gates for those flying in and out of the area.
Carolina Beach Road is a major convergence point and can be congested. It is home to The Village on Myrtle Grove, a busy shopping center housing Home Depot, Staples and other big stores and service shops. There is also a Myrtle Grove branch of the New Hanover Public Library on this road while less than 10 miles away are the University of North Carolina-Wilmington and Cape Fear Community College. There is a Wells Fargo branch along Piner Road.
