Wyomissing is only home to 10,461 people as of the 2010 census, but it's actually the most populated borough in Berks County, Pennsylvania. There are only three neighborhoods in Wyomissing, each of which is relatively densely populated and commercial. Wherever you choose to live, you'll never be too far from the local amenities.

N Park Road / N Wyomissing Boulevard: Hip and trendy and full of apartment complexes, this is the best place to find one- to two-bedroom rental apartments. You'll have Madison Wynnewood Park in the middle and Berkshire Mall over to the west. There's a pretty good Red Lobster here, too.

Borough Center: The south is more open and covered in wide green parkland, while the north is criss-crossed with residential roads and shopping promenades. If you need a relaxing cup of coffee after rushing around all day, check out Dosie Dough at the top of town.

Wyomissing Hills: It may not be the Hills of L.A., but there are still plenty of nice three- to four-bedroom houses here. Santino's is a popular family restaurant if you fancy a relaxing dinner out.

Living in Wyomissing

As a busy retail center, you're never too far from a bit of action in Wyomissing, and you'll find several retail giants and restaurants within the main Berkshire Mall and several other smaller districts. You won't find too much in the way of a heavy nightlife, but Building 24 certainly holds its own against the big city venues, while those with a more relaxed disposition will enjoy the Winedown Cafe and wine bar, where the sticky toffee pudding is, apparently, a must.
