Deep in the heart of the Delta and just past Memphis is a place called Corinth. Sure, its name is biblical, but this town is about much more than the Bible Belt. Corinth is a town of character and community. While many of the people who live here enjoy living near Memphis, they still like their hometown -- which makes sense, since it's a place with lots to like about it.

Southern Corinth: The southern part of Corinth is the farthest away from Memphis and also the most remote. Sectioned off by Highway 72, Southern Corinth feels like the Mississippi country town that it is. Nearly everyone here has a car (there is no real reliable public transportation in Corinth.) However, it's a lovely place to live with the beautiful Liddon Lake nearby.
Northern Corinth: Northern Corinth is where it's all happening in this part of the world. The center is Corinth National Cemetery, surrounded by the downtown area and the historic district (don't worry, no ghosts here). The very northernmost part of Corinth is residential. There are lovely country homes big and small to be bought or rented, so the picking is yours!
Living in Corinth
Living in Corinth provides residents a real suburban country experience. There are lovely homes on treelined streets, and a quaint, country Main Street district. Corinth itself has plenty to do.
There are lots of historic places to visit, including the Coliseum Theatre, the Downtown Corinth Historic District, Civil War Fort Robinette, Union Earthworks, the Curlee House (the headquarters for Confederate generals during the Civil War battle that took place in town), and more. However, the town of Corinth's motto is "Where history is only half our story," which means that there's plenty of hip and with-it stuff stuff happening every day!
Some great things to do in town include seeing rotating art exhibits at the Corinth Artist Guild Gallery, hearing a concert by the Corinth Symphony Orchestra, or going to a concert at the world-class crossroads arena. You can also check out the Crossroads Museum, which has exhibits about Corinth's history, but it also has rotating exhibits about nature, science, and other history.
If all that Corinth has to offer isn't quite enough for you, you might want to pop on over to Memphis, TN, which is just an hour-and-a-half drive due west. It's a big city, with nearly every type of entertainment or dining option you could imagine. In Corinth, you're also close to Tupelo, where you can visit the birthplace of Elvis Presley, or Oxford, where the Ole Miss campus is located, and you can visit the home of William Faulkner.
