The lounge provides a nice environment to gather with friends for drinks. You will find other favorites in the neighborhood. Everything from Asian cuisine such as Thai, Chinese and Japanese to Italian and Mexican.

Shrewsbury: This is as urban as it gets, and if you love jazz, then this is the neighborhood for you. There are several jazz clubs and dining places that cater to those who love this type of music. Expect to find smaller apartment buildings, townhouses and a few duplexes scattered throughout the area. Count Basie Theater is the big draw in this neighborhood and for good reason. If you are expecting only jazz then you are in for a treat! This historic theater plays host to everything from classical to country music and also hosts the ballet and opera. This is truly a cultural center, and the theater itself is a showcase.

Living in Red Bank

Red Bank not only has a great variety of indoor activities and attractions, but it will also get you outside with a schedule of events that span the majority of the year. From the Red Bank Street Fair in April to the Holiday Horse and Carriage Rides that last until late December, there is sure to be something that interests you. Be sure to give the Riverfest a try in May. This 3-day festival features food, music and a carnival. It's a great way to sample local flavors, as well as check out local artists. This event attracts upwards of 100,000 visitors a year so you know it has to be good. For great home cooking, frequent the farmers' market that runs from mid-May until December and will allow you to get great local fruits and vegetables and meet those who grew them. It's every Sunday so be sure to mark it on your calendar.
